UPDATED - April 2026
University of Oxford has an institution-wide licence for Covidence! This means that all staff members, researchers or students can now use Covidence for an unlimited number of reviews, references and collaborations.
All reviews will be migrated to the new University of Oxford account. This will not affect your access to the reviews or ongoing work. However, this licence will be phased out, so all new reviews will need to be created under the new institutional-wide licence account.
To start new reviews under the new licence and keep access to your existing ones, you will need to sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO). Head to the new University of Oxford’s Covidence Knowledge Base Page and follow the instructions for 'Existing Users'.

Maintaining Access to Your Work When Leaving the University
You are required to add a secondary email address before leaving, as this will ensure uninterrupted access to your Covidence account.
If you need to log back into your Covidence account but cannot because you don’t have access to your university email address anymore, please get in touch by emailing support@covidence.org.
