Socialstyrelsen has a licence to Covidence, primarily available for co-workers at the Department for Health and Medical Care.
Covidence is a web-based software platform that streamlines the production of systematic reviews. It supports reference/citation screening, full-text review, risk of bias assessment, extraction of study characteristics and outcomes, and the export of data and references.
How to start a review with Socialstyrelsen's licence
To obtain an account and start a review, send an email to one of the Covidence administrators: anna.kullberg@socialstyrelsen.se or carl-erik.flodmark@socialstyrelsen.se with the following information:

Question type (Therapy, Prevention, Etiology, Diagnosis, Prognosis, Qualitative, Other)
Is this your main review or a practice review?
What’s the purpose of this review? (Coursework [UG/Masters], Thesis [Masters/PhD], Academic Research Project, Professional Research Project, Teaching/Education, Personal learning/skill development)
Once approved, an email invitation will be sent to join your review (you may need to check your spam folder): click 'Accept invitation'
Sign in if you already have an existing Covidence account with your affiliated email address OR sign up for a new account (we recommend using your affiliated email)

Once you have successfully accepted a Socialstyrelsen invitation to join a review, you will have full access to the review to work.

Conduct data extraction - Extract data efficiently with a side-by-side view of your customised form and PDF. Then, when you are done, easily compare your form with other reviewers.
Export - Covidence exports to all the common formats, so you can continue your review in your preferred software.
Collaborate - You can invite other reviewers (including external colleagues) to work with you on the project.

Maintaining Access to Your Work If Leaving the Organisation
We recommend adding a secondary email address before you leave to make it easier to continue using your Covidence account without interruption.
If you need to log back into your Covidence account but cannot because you don’t have access to your university email address anymore, please get in touch by emailing support@covidence.org.
